The balloons are supplied flat packed ready to be filled with helium by you. We offer two sized of helium canister:
These helium canisters are disposable and therefore classed as perishable. They are delivered direct from an external supplier, so whilst we endeavour to ensure your helium arrives on your chosen day, it will not arrive with your balloons, but may arrive slightly before or after your delivery.
For more information on our helium and guidelines, visit our helium page here.
For inflation, our recommendation would be to have a tape measure, get 2 chairs and measure a space of 70cm between the 2 chairs. Blow the balloon up with the helium in between the 2 chairs until it is touching each chair and then you will know it is filled to exactly the right size to hold the weight of the tail.
If you are not using a tassel tail, we recommend filling your balloon partially with air, as the the pyramid weights do not support a full helium giant balloon on it's own.
For giant balloons on plain ribbon or short tassel tails we recommend a ratio of 60:40 helium to air.
The balloon will float for approximately 3 days using the helium canister suggested. If you need the balloon to stay afloat for longer, we recommend adding on HI-FLOAT to your purchase. One 16oz bottle is enough to fill 100 11" latex balloons or approximately 10 giants. Simply follow the instructions on the bottle to make your balloon display last a lot longer! HI-FLOAT is not suitable for use with confetti filled balloons.
The balloons are made from excellent quality latex - the balloon choice of professionals.
